And this was Steve's entry at 272. This "wrinkle" of yours is introducing a rather competitive edge to the week, Andy! I really wanted to do this song, because I love it, and, much to my husband's displeasure, I took time to record it this morning so that I could hopefully get in before anyone else. (I DID have time to make soup for lunch, though!)

Was working on "I Don't Like Mondays", finished it, then went to post it today around noon, and saw that Ryan had already posted his fine version. I decided to post mine anyway (mod approved), since mine is a bit different; I was going for a quicker tempo. Had a bit of tech trouble posting it, but when I did, it shows above Ryan's. I guess I've mastered time travel, I should head to the casino! Oh well, hope you like it.

Steve did a fantastic job of this and it's one I've always wanted to try so, it being the day after Sunday, I decided to have a go.

"Even on a cloudy day, I'll keep my eyes fixed on the sun"

"But I heard voices, Not in the head, out in the air, they called to me. Through record speakers, through thick and thin, they found a shelter, beneath my skin"

Mr Steve did this at 152 . The goonery on my take is homage to the late Mr Peter Sellers who can be heard gooning and playing top notch ukelele on this, the last track on Steeleye Span's Commoners Crown album, which was my first and favourite SS album ,first heard by me in 1976 . It is also my first using chord pulse so gets a bit ragged, should take more time putting this stuff together lol.

Playlist is current to here. We are up to 25 songs, which leaves 340 songs waiting to be claimed. Com’n, I know there’s at least one person out there who isn’t ready to pack up the Christmas music yet!
