No the ukulele stores copy the guitar world. Guitars have very little variation in scale but body sizes that are attached to the same scale can vary substantially. For example Martin 0, 00, and 000 all have 24.9 scale and OM, dreadnaught, and jumbo all have 25. 4 scale. So there is only a tiny 0.5 scale difference between largest and smallest body. If a uke is soprano, concerto, tenoro, or baritone is only determined by scale length, body size attached needs different terminology, but business is not innovative enough to deal with precision of terminology.
