I bought this lovely ukulele from Mim about this time last year. She had three of the last ukuleles Gary built before retiring. I wanted the deeper tenor sound, but with my more comfortable concert scale neck. Now that I have my aNueNue Moon Bird, I don't play the Gary Gill as much. It's too nice not to be played more.
It is in good, but not mint condition. It is strung High G with Worth Brown strings. Set-up and MiSi pick-up installed by Mim. It will include a hard shell case. This is the case that Mim included when I bought it. It's a tenor case, so it's a little big above the head stock, but fits the pear shaped body fine. ****See the first picture for the details on the ukulele.
Condition issues to point out......There were two small indentations in the top when I received it. There is a small ding to the front binding, not sure how that happened. There is a larger gouge to the back binding that was my stupidity. There is a circle shaped mark on the back towards the neck. Both Mim & Gary Gill himself recommended against drilling into the neck to install a strap button. I used a Uke Loop that attached to the back body with double sided tape. Removing it left the circle shaped mark. There is another tiny indentation in the back. All of these are cosmetic issues. All are documented in the pictures.
I paid $745 plus extra for the MiSi installation. Asking $475 shipped, includes the case. CONUS only. Paypal for payment.
