I recently purchase a use Pono AT at a super discount. It has a small crack in the side of the body. It is about 1.5" long and very hard to see. You can only really feel it.

I tried to take a picture, but the picture doesn't show the crack.

The crack doesn't seem to affect the play. How to do I stop it from growing?

I have read CA glue or hot hide glue.

What do you think?

Thanks

Marty

"If it isn't broke don't fix it" But if you do glue, my suggestion is to use Tight Bond red cap slightly diluted with water. Work it into the crack with a clean finger, wipe off the excess, let dry and peal off what may have dried on the finish. I've used my finger nail or roll the edge with again with a clean finger.
Hide glue can be tricky without a heated glue pot and CA is hard to remove if it runs elsewhere.
