Hi all.

Nex Feb. 1st, I'm releasing my new project, a collection of 50 short studios for ukulele, no longer than one minute each, that I’ve titled 50 Miniature Studies for Ukulele.

This collection compiles pieces created to develop diverse musical performance abilities and fingerpicking techniques: arpeggios, campanella, alternate thumb…

I’ll be releasing videos at a rate of 2 per week –Wednesday and Friday– on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.

You can get access to the tablatures, performance notes and other goodies –such as live lessons– by subscribing to my Patreon.

The full studies collection will be released as a digital album (audio + PDF tab book) by the end of the project (July).

Now, here is the video trailer

very best of luck for success with this project brother.
sounds fantastic.

Study No. 1 - Tenderness

Just released the first video of this project.

Study No. 1 – Tenderness, is a sweet, relaxed piece that can help you start using up to four stroking fingers.

First part features fixed first position grips for every bar, the second half is somehow more demanding of the fretting hand, but I'd say that's worth it.

Lovely piece and very nicely played. I look forward to hearing more.

Study No. 2 - Angel Island

Second issue released today.

Study No. 2 – Angel Island is the soundtrack to an imaginary bonus level in a platform video game. It consists of persistent three string arpeggios over small fingering hand position shifts.

Tabs & performance notes are available at https://www.patreon.com/posts/24406227

Study No. 5 - Drama-in-the-box

A charming melody created through banjo roll style arpeggios:

Hope you enjoy it.

Study No. 7 - Fairly Late

Seventh episode features a syncopated melody over a Travis picking background.

Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for the videos! It is helpful to hear how the songs are supposed to sound before I start!:)

Study No. 8 - Lady Ping-pong

A table tennis match played over a progression of arpeggiated chords. A good exercise to put the four plucking fingers to work!

Study No. 9 - Dripping Tap

An exercise on barrés. Mechanical arpeggios are played while the barred chord ascends and descends over the fretboard. The melody emulates the sound of a, wait for it, dripping tap.

Study No. 10 - Gertrude by the Window

Gertrude used to play the piano with her father. On the anniversary of his death, we can see her wet and wistful eyes through the window, remembering the melody they always played together.

Study No. 11 - Playtime

A short, but intense, campanella piece of celtic inspiration.
