I am interested in building a ukulele closely resembling this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeoD4DXcNDw. I would like to do a solid body version and I would rather purchase a neck/fret board if possible. Would a neck such as this https://www.amazon.com/Electric-Gui...6&sr=8-2&keywords=unfinished+guitar+neck&th=1 throw off the sound? I have been doing research but solid body electric baritone ukuleles seem to be scarce. Thanks!

That's a really wide neck for a 4 string. It's definitely a small niche of the market.

That's been one of my dream projects for a while, and Mr. Mann builds some wonderful instruments.
Have you considered buying (and perhaps customizing) one of these bluetooth baritone-scale eleukes?

CB Gitty has necks that are 1.5" wide, which is more akin to baritone size.
They are longer than required, and you can get them with frets already installed (if you select "Fully Fretted" at the link below), and then cut down from the headstock end to the scale length you want. A friend of mine has been planning to do just that soon, so I've not seen this process up close yet.
