Ohana has rounded up what they debuted at NAMM, like a new Cynthia Lin signature model, a performance line with a solid Spruce top, some new gigbags, and finally the tenor-neck-on-a baritone-body they showed last year (BKT-70G):

Last year, they also had some guitars, including a tenor guitar that I have never seen in stores. Looks like Ohana is focusing more on ukes again now.

Seems like every year, there are some newcomer ukulele brands at the NAMM show. One I spotted this year, is Kahua:

With their laminate Zebrawood, Mahogany, Ziricote and other models, they look a lot like other brands you see around.

Apparently, they are associated with Hal Leonard.

Even though the NAMM show ended last Sunday, new videos pop up from different makers, so I just keep compiling what I find.

Here is yet another look and discussion of the Takumi booth, with the boys from Southern Ukulele Store talking about Sumi Kobo, Gibson style inspired building, and Toda ukulele:

Not uke-specific (not specifically about uses at all).

8:28-9:04, John Mayer captures one reason why some may have headed towards a uke after (a) guitar(s).

There may be other a-ha moments in this video... I listened to it piecemeal so can't quite remember all of them...
keeping an eye out for a very special concert....
