Interested in a cutaway tenor

I think I want a spruce top cutaway. with a solid top, does the laminate body equal a solid body as far as resonance? I want a warm body with the spruce, am thinking about the laminate ebony or solid mohagany or pau ferro vs rosewood. Can anyone say which of these body have a good warm resonance to balance the spruce? Thanks in advance.

I have one of these that I bought off of reverb for the same price as this one. I have owned Kamakas, Kanileas, Koalohas, a different Pono PC, and some other nice ukuleles. This model, a Pono PC ATSHC is tied for my all time favorites with a Koaloha tenor factory special that Pops picked out for me.

I someone reading this wants a nice tenor and has $800, I suggest snapping this one up ASAP. I am not affiliates with the seller in any way.

Looks good, and thx for the lead. the only thing that gets in the way with me with the Pono is the chunky neck.

Have you had a chance to try a Pro Classic? They have a radiused fretboard. Some don’t like a radiused fretboard while others, like me, greatly prefer it.
