    Default Kala case

Anyone seen one of these Kala faux gator-hide cases? I think it may be a rebranded Uke Crazy case, as they look identical. Anyway, what's the little circular disc on the lid, above the headstock? Is that a built-in hygrometer? They never seem to mention that in any of the ads I've seen.

Yes, it's a hygrometer. I have one of these cases, and am surprised how close the hygrometer is to the relative humidity reading on my Davis weather station.

Not rebranded - Uke Crazy is a Kala Brand. And yes, that is a hygrometer. Some cases have them, some don't.

I believe that they stopped making the built-in hygrometer cases.

I just bought one from Mim and the quality is very, very good. Every bit as good as the Elite cases.
