Default Medical MJ where do you stand

Cannabis has now "evolved its own language, humor, etiquette, art, literature, and music. Perhaps because of its ancient mystical and spiritual roots, because of the psychotherapeutic effects of the drug and because it is illegal, even the very act of smoking a joint has deep symbolism. However, the culture of cannabis as "the manifestation of introspection and bodily passivity" — which has generated a negative "slacker" stereotype around its consumers. But nowadays is a relatively modern concept, as cannabis has been consumed in various forms for almost 5,000 years
Alternative medicine is more accepted nowadays due to its promising results unlike pharmaceutical medicine, alternative medicine doesn’t give a negative effect such as kidney and liver problems when it comes to long term use. As for my alternative medicine usage, I use medical marijuana. The different strain has a variety of uses and effects depending on your needs. Like this marijuana strain https://www.gyo.green/sensi-seeds-mr...sen-mgh-r.html. This strain has a very potent effect on chronic pains like back pain and joint pain and a lot more. The benefits of marijuana, specifically the CBD cannabinoid, are undeniable. Let's take a look at all of the ways CBD is helping patients every day.

As a retired hospice nurse, I'm all for it. I've had dozens of patients who could have benefited from it, instead of using many doses of morphine and other opiods, and ativan, an anti anxiety med.
I can tell you it's very safe, non habit forming, and there are no withdrawal symptoms if use is stopped. I did have a few patients that used it with their own suppliers, and they were helped greatly.
And, when I was a pot user, I enjoyed the high thoroughly. Never a hangover! Never a bad trip. No constipation. And it was cheap.
The Big Pharma jerks are trying to stop CBD, get it banned.

I've seen too many people helped by medical cannabis to doubt its efficacy. And with thirty-five states with medical cannabis laws on the books I think a lot of people agree. And I'm all for anything that will help reduce the arthritis pain in my fretting hand. Unfortunately with reefer madness propaganda and the low hanging fruit of easy money (pot arrests, asset forfeitures, etc.) the science gets ignored.

Genesis 1:29; Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food."

How can a plant be illegal? Maybe I missed the annotation that said "except the devils lettuce for that be evil"

I do question this. Tobacco is a plant, and is pure poison when dipped, chewed, smoked. It has killed millions of people, and crippled many. It should be illegal!

How do we account for stinging nettle, poison ivy, hemlock, deadly nightshade. . .? Perhaps God didn't do Her research.
In any case, I'm not gonna eat that salad.

If I take a poppy, score the sides to collect the sap and dry it I get opium. Should poppies be illegal too? A plant should not be illegal - it's just a part of nature. However, if a person wants to be dumb and smoke/chew/dip said plant, then that's their prerogative. Being dumb isn't illegal, is it?
