    Default Hello from Suffolk England

Two months , one hour a night , loving it . Getting frustrated with barre chords .
My favourites at the moment is Hot Tamales and Five foot two eyes are blue.
Bought a Kala Ka gloss concert and a Snail SUT M3. I find the concert easier to learn on tho. Hope to pick up some good tips on here . Cheers

Welcome from a guy up norf.

Whilst I have been playing keys and guitars for years the Uke is new to me and one thing that has amazed me is that within 15 minutes from my home there are six Ukulele Societies.

So do search out what resourses are available where you live.

I am retired and a local branch if the national U3A has about 60 activity Groups one of which is a Ukulele Group where 20 of us are learning to play our Ukes together so if you fit the age criteria (over 55) do check out what U3A do in your home town.

Uke wish list, a Bass, make and model yet to be determined

    Welcome aboard.

(I find that if I turn/twist my hand a little bit, barre chords are easier to obtain.)

    Welcome to the forum.
A day without playing uke is a day not well lived.
