Hi Jon,
Moving across the continent in Australia has kept me busy for the past few months and I have not had much time on UU. Oddly I logged on today and saw your post. I say oddly because I have just decided to sell the Collings UC2 that I bought for my wife hoping that she would play with me. Unfortunately she is too engaged with her own art forms and hasn’t touched the instrument. I play it every now and then. The reason I’m mentioning this is that I will be visiting a friend in Hawaii in late May and if you wanted my Uke I could ship/post from there.
It is a fine instrument but too small for my large clumsy arthritic left hand. I have had a custom bone strap pin(made by Bob Colossi in Georgia) installed (but not permanently) at the bottom end of the body.
I don't have a a photo of the strap pin as installed but will take one and post it tomorrow. I paid the equivalent of $US1500 and would hope to get close to that considering the quality and condition of the instrument. It come with the original Collings(Ameritage) case.
Here are some photos:

This seems like a match made in heaven. Jump on that UC2, Jon!

i'm very grateful for all the replies gang.
and Hollis, thank you so much for the great offer brother.
I would have bought this in a heartbeat but i'd already jumped on
2 other offers before your post came through mate.
I am thankful to have a tenor and concert now, both of which i'm very pleased with.
again, thank you to all. I clearly need to close this thread now.
and Hollis - I just saw your for sale post on the marketplace for this amazing UC2,
and at such a generous starting price (which reminded me of my oversight
in not closing this thread earlier). someone has a wonderful deal and
a brilliant instrument awaiting them!
