The double K was added in 1954. A white interior label replaced the gold one in 1969. Those tuning buttons suggest no later than early 2000s.

Thank you for that reference. It looks like the interior label changed again in 2001 so it seems this one would be from sometime between 1969-2000?
It looks good and will make someone a great player!

Just curious, what strings do you have on your concert Kamaka? I’ve got Fremont Blacklines on mine after taking out the stock strings but they’re not cutting it for me, either.

What's the neck profile?
I like a slender neck, but find I'm happier with a C Shape rather than the flat D shape.
I can't seem to figure out when Kamaka made which shape.
I've held both gold and white labels, and in all sizes, with both shapes... so confusing.
(Appreciate others' input too!)

Almost everything I have is strung with fluorocarbon but the 2 Kamakas just sound great with Aquila’s.

Beautiful wood. Judging by the tuners, it's roughly from about the year 2000.
