Hi zz, the sound of my right (strumming and plucking) thumb is from the flesh, but the skin is just a tiny bit thickened from playing so it gets a bit stronger, cleaner string response. Thanks!

Much thanks and best, Hodge. Hope you are doing great. Yes, I'm sure the Koa Works would be excellent in low g as well, but I never want to forget my re-entrant roots, LOL. The Koa Works has both sustain and clarity in re-entrant.
