    Default NUD: KoAloha Opio tenor

Yes, it’s a NUD, but my main purpose in posting is to call attention to an awesome ukulele shop in Highland Park, Illinois (north suburban Chicago): Aloha City Ukes. I have no affiliation with them, other than being a wildly happy customer.

Matt was so helpful, and I found a wonderful Opio tenor with a full, rich tone.

All you Chicagolanders, go visit Aloha City Ukes soon! Aloha City is 1/2 block from the Ravinia Metra train station, so it is very easy to reach from anywhere in the Chicago area via the Metra system. There’s a lovely little park right across the street, so you can relax and play your new uke while you wait for your return train.

Those who are not lucky enough to be a Chicagolander, be sure to check out the website.

Thanks for Aloha City Ukes recommendation.

How do you like your KoAloha Opio tenor?

You don't see many stores like that outside of Hawaii. Good discovery.
Too many ukes, but I can't stop buying!

Congrats! I've never had the chance to play an Opio, vut the acacia tenors look great, wood and finish looks as good as a Koaloha.
