I live in North Carolina.
aloha everyone.
Has anyone here ever tried Kulolo? In Hawaii, it is considered a pudding but from what I have read, it is more fudge like in consistency. I would like to know, After it is made, does it need to be refrigerated or can it be put in a container and kept at room temperature? I am thinking of having some for my birthday luau which is going to be in a couple of weeks. I found a recipe for it. All I need to know is how to store it after it's been made and tasted.

I've never heard of it.
But have some birthday wishes from me.
(It is mine next week too.)
Happy Birthday!

Edit: Some of the websites I just looked at have it wrapped in plastic for sales to other people.

I love Kulolo!
Yes usually just stored at room temperature in plastic, as long as the room is not too hot.
Keeping it honestly is never a problem as we usually consume it when we get it.

Try pulling off some marble-sized pieces and eat it with ice cream!

We also like to eat small pieces tossed in a fruit salad, or eat it together with haupia, which is like a coconut jello type dessert.

Mahalo nui! Now my only other problem is, where am I going to get Taro here in North Carolina. That is required when making it.
