I've had this soprano for a little while. Bought it because it's nicely made, plays well and it's rare. The Epiphone Masterbilt series of guitars and later ukes was a high end (for Epiphone) line. and this one is a great build with good wood. It's got a very nice sound (I know, "nice" is relative), similar to a mahogany Martin, loud, chirpy but with some warmth. And the friction tuners are some of the best I've used, they are smooth, solid and hold tune. And while we're talking about the peghead, it's got that "haircut" headstock similar to Collings except the "hair's" parted on the opposite side :) These were sold briefly in 2010 and disappeared quickly. Don't think Epi did a good job of marketing and this was a little ahead of the major uke craze.

Overall it's really clean with the exception of one ding on the back, bottom edge. It's not real noticeable (see photo) but you can feel it. The case is also very cool. It's in a canvas covered foamshell case with an arched top and embroidered logo, and it also has a hydrometer inside the case. Really classy case for a classy uke that you probably won't see anybody else playing in your uke jams! And the pocket holds all the hang tags and a nice case strap.

All that for only $350 plus shipping and insurance. Soprano is my least played uke size and I have a couple others already. Thanks for looking

Here's the original sales info:

Had one of these many moons ago when they first came out. They were very well made and sounded great. Someone will be happy - nice soprano!

Great little solid wood soprano here in a cool case! Make me an offer or tenor trade...

This is a nice price for a fine (and rare!) little uke. Even the case is cool!

One more bump then off eBay with added price to cover fees. Trades welcome!

Still for sale? How much to ship to Houston, TX. Definitely interested!

Great uke I have one just like it. It is my favorite uke to sit on the couch and noodle around on. I even put GOTOH upt’s on it.
