Default FS: Pepe Romero "The Antique" Tenor

"The Antique" set of 2 custom Limited Edition Pepe Ukuleles. The price on each of these 2 of a kind ukes was $3,600, which is the same as the series 5 models. This is "The Antique" #2. The back and sides are made of Sycamore from an antique dresser that Pepe's grandparents bought in the mid-1940's! The top is German spruce from a tree cut at midnight of the new moon on December 1999. 12 frets to the body, French Polished. Strung with Pepe Romero Strings. Send me an email if you are interested. I could provide the building process photos & videos.

    Asking $2800 include hardcase.

Lovely instrument. Really attractive wood. Must have been a very nice dresser.

    Are there any sound samples?

I bought a blackbird farallon from Jen and she was fantastic to work with. The uke also came really fast in perfect condition. Good luck with the sale!

    Cheers!

Incredible ‘ukulele. Its tone has an alluring edge; I imagine it projects wonderfully.

It worked fine. Nice bright sound from it. Alas, a bit out of my price range right now.
