    Default New old Martin

I won this Martin recently on eBay. It's dated between 1957 - 1959. I think it was a good price at $300 shipped. Structurally in great shape with no cracks...just some cosmetics.

Wow... I’m sorry, but you were robbed. It doesn’t even have any strings on it!

Tell you what. I’ll do you a solid and give you what you paid for it. I’m in New Jersey and happy to drive out to Reading and give you cash money. If you PM me your address, I can be there in a couple of hours!

Seriously though, that’s a really nice score! You got a great deal!

The seller was not an instrument seller, he was selling a myriad of odd ball items. He had it listed as 1940's. When I dropped him an offer of $250 (with $50 shipping), I left a note that it was from 1957 to 1959. He may have construed that as making it worth less. I'm surprised he accepted.

I didn't know that eBay worked that personally. Nevertheless, glad you got it, enjoy.

A seller can opt for a "make an offer" button. It allows for you to list a price you'd wish to pay and add in a note.
