    I still want one but going for now to get a wood ukulele. The other one might make it a Christmas present or something.

    Agreeing on this, and since we're talking setups Outdoors are also an exception there. Outdoors are weird because they're one piece of plastic with the bridge and nut molded in permanently and unchangeably. This means that the setup can't be readily changed after they're made, so it's good that they come very playable for most people. Wood instruments traditionally have separate nuts and bridges which can be filed, shaped, and replaced to the player's desired settings. Wood is also much more likely to move with environmental changes and so need adjustment.
