Nice review. I agreed on volume controls. For passive don’t bother. Keep jack and wire to under saddle short and clean. Also agree with description of Takamine in general, well built work horses. I think they’d be better served selling thru Uke stores rather than guitar stores. It may take a bit more sales work from reps but a well set up Uke by people who truly believe ukuleles are serious instruments is important. Most guitar stores, IMHO and in my observations, know very little about ukuleles, don’t do set up and sell by price. Just a general statement and observation. Nice laminate.
