Great to hear, that should open up the market again. I buy solid body bass ukes imported from China by RondoMusic.com in New Hampshire that I have modified into other style basses, but they've been out if stock for a long time because of the CITES restrictions. Hopefully they can get more now.

This is Michael Kohan in Los Angeles, Beverly West near the Beverly Center
9 tenor cutaway ukes, 5 acoustic bass ukes, 11 solid body bass ukes, 9 mini electric bass guitars (Total: 34)

· CITES regulation for Dalbergia cochinchinensis and in Dalbergia sp. originating from and exported from Mexico remains unchanged.

Note that these exemptions don’t apply to Brazilian rosewood (Dalbergia nigra), which is subject to stricter international regulation.

Interesting clauses. So it is not a blanket exemption on Dalbergia species.
