where do you live

I live all over the fretboard, one end to the other.

Where ever chord melodies take me. I follow the notes like a robot. I use mostly Mike Lynch books one thru three and a lot of Spencer Gay's arrangements which I like a lot. When strumming or playing chords I prefer cowboy chords for ease of playing and for sound.

My playing style is usually favoring open chords. I definititely need a strap support if I go higher with chords, which I don't use most times. It is not so with soloing, then I go higher, up to 15th fret for C and sometimes also the D. My uke plays them well in tune there. Eb is the highest on 18th fret but seldom used.

Hi, Jarmo! I like to play without strap too. I use two ways to jump. When we play C to E, we need to jump. I often use bottom of my index finger to slide from C to E (see the photo A below). An other way is to place my thumb behind the neck for C and ready for jump (B). Then I use palm for jump.
