I was asked to build this One of a kind ukulele (Ooaku) so the gentelman could practice on an instrument that had the same physical dimensions as his Koaloha, but be pretty much totally silent unless plugged in.

I've only every built acoustic instruments, so this was something way out of my comfort zone. Not knowing until this afternoon if it would actually make any sound at all.

Made from New Guinea Rosewood neck and body, Huon Pine and Australian Blackwood for the ribs and Ebony trim. A LRBaggs 5-0 pickup for when you want to make some noise.

I'm not a fan of electric uke's but I like the way you built that one ,It looks great :)
