I ordered a few fretboards and blank slabs of wood for fretboards, and I was surprised by the pair I received yesterday. They looked so small that I couldn't imagine what they would be for. I looked up my order, and I had ordered two soprano boards.
They measure 7 3/4" long, compared with tenor boards which are about 12" long. I held the miniature board up against the fretboard on my Vita Uke soprano, and they were the same size! They look so much smaller on their own. Good example of an optical illusion.
Below is a picture of the tenor and soprano boards.
