Hi everyone! I have benefited several times from topics I've found in the forums, but never actually joined until today. While I am not new to music, stringed instruments are completely new for me. I've been playing a concert uke for about 9 months and am getting the itch to add a tenor. . . It is nice to have a way to connect with others who share this interest!

One Uke is just not enough.
Can I suggest that when (notice I did not use the ....if ..... word) you look at Tenors you aim for a quality made instrument. You should find a Tenor OK as there is not much difference in scale length between a Concert and a Tenor but quite a bit of a difference in body size and volume.
If you can visit a Music Store and play as many Ukes as you can in your budget range.
