Belcat Uk-2000 Read and white wiring to the output Jack?

Belcat Uk-2000 Read and white wiring to the output Jack? PLEASE help :e. I am replacing a broken output jack of the Belcat uk 2000. Should the red wire go to the SLEEVE or to the TIP contact of the output jack. I have tried it both ways. PLEASE help, I need it working ASAP. Thanks so much in advance.

What was the result when you tried it in each of those two ways?
What type of jack are you replacing the original (typically closed style) jack with?
Those jacks normally have three lugs, the third being used for battery switching.
Is the Belcat switching on when you insert the plug into the jack and off when you remove it?
This battery saving measure is used in most modern onboard pre-amps ... if wired incorrectly the device will not power on and no sound will emit regardless of the wiring of the other two terminals.
