hmm...was it a 10-pin or candlestick ally? That has a big effect on tone ;)
 
Looks like nice wood....but very narrow strips. I guess you could resaw it into ukulele plates but you'd have many strips on the top and back. I have no idea what glue holds those strips together. Bending a side that's two strips wide could be a big challenge if the glue melts. If its a soft glue it might not hold together when you thin out the top/back. Unless you want a "Big Lebowski" themed instrument its probably not worth it.
I'd use it for work benches, counter tops, bar tops, cutting boards etc.
