Default Kala KA-ASCP-T Pau Ferro Tenor

Anyone ever put their hands on this Kala tenor?

Doesn't seem to be offered anywhere else, though Elderly apparently once had one. I don't know if it's the end or beginning of the run, or if they never got off the ground.
Price point at $318 is amazing for all solid.
I like its minimalist good looks.

Nice tenor, I love cedar tops. Interesting that they are apparently for sale, but only through the Kala website. If these are NOS from a discontinued model, funny that they didn't blow them out through dealers, like they did with the discontinued KA-ASOV ukes. Perhaps there's only a few.

Yeah, I thought it odd too that they never made it to retail stores...

Saw this uke online, and searched for it here, found this thread. This all KA-ASCP-T solid cedar/pau ferro tenor uke looks sweet, and at $299.00 seems like a great deal too.

Wow! If I had any more room in my uke space, I'd be on this like a bluejay on a june bug. Wife and I still have the Kala solid acacia baritones we started with 8 yrs ago. I still believe that some of the Kalas are the best bang for the buck out there.

HMS has both the tenor and concert versions--both have a free case deal this week. Here's the Tenor link https://www.theukulelesite.com/shop-...ka-ascp-t.html

I haven't put my hands on one, but my mother-in-law just bought the concert version from HMS a week or so ago. She's still waiting for setup and shipping.

I've never played a pau ferro wood instrument, but hey, for a solid wood ukulele, that seems like a right smart buy. If I Needed a tenor, I'd grab it.

    Hey!!
20% discount during May with KALAMAY20 (received via email) and free shipping! It will probably need a set up.
Not sure I can afford not to buy one, LOL.

And there's the even more heavily discounted scoop model in Clearance too! That one has gloss and no slothead.
