I purchased this satin finish spruce top mahogany back and sides Hoffmann ML directly from Hoffmann Lutherie in May 2018 for $1800.
I'm focusing on the guitar now so I'm culling my ukulele collection.
The unusual body shape of this uke gives it a bigger sound than most tenor ukuleles. The Hoffmann neck joints are the best in the business. Mr. Hoffmann also uses an ingenious method for holding the strings in place at the nut. If interested in the technical details of construction check out Hoffmann Lutherie's website. The ukuelesite has some great sound clips if you are interested in how these sound a bit different than traditional tenor ukes.
This one has a few tiny marks on the soft spruce top from strumming and a mark near the bridge from the A string. It has never needed a repair.
Comes with hard-shell case and extra set of low g strings plus humidifier.
