Hello, I set the broken neck together with superglue for my Sandstrom banjolele. The fracture was at about the 3rd to 5th frets as seen from the nut, in a kind of slanted about 45 degree angle.
Do you think the superglue joint will be sufficient or will further strengthening to the neck joint be necessary to add?
Regards

Ukulele strings don't exert enough pressure to bend a pencil. However, raw superglue is notoriously brittle and so most commercial preparations include a variety of additives depending on the application. It may rebreak more easily than expected if dropped but likely not from normal use.

Why dont you drill a couple holes at the break and insert a couple dowels, I've done it and it worked well.

Yes! thanks Pukulele Pete, by doing so it´s possible to strengthen the joint without making to much damage of the back of the neck. :)
If you drill cleverly that is.
