We have a fantastic time at the Funky Frets Uke Fest in Boyertown, PA over the weekend. It was especially nice meeting two people from UU there. On the way there, several of us stopped at the Martin factory and took the tour. If you're within driving distance, it's a must-see. I was tempted to buy a guitar - but I resisted.

Details and pictures to follow.

Thanks for the update.

I am looking forward to your photo diary of the event. :)

I'm waiting to get pictures from two other people. Then I will post them - or a link to them. I'm about to post a link to pictures of the Martin factory tour.

Nice meeting you also, Jerry. It's always great to be able to put a face to a name.

Wish I could've gone! Sounds like it would've been fun!

Yes, it is excellent. I paid about $140 for three days, including meals and a sing-along train ride at the end. I've ruled out many events because of cost. Adding mileage and a hotel to the cost of the event makes some of them way too expensive. If you want want to go next year, register early. They sold out this year - with the maximum number dictated by the seating capacity of the train.
