I am a Breedlove fan. I have played on their import guitars as well as one of the earlier model import ukes that got mixed reviews. i liked it personally, but don't feel it was quite on the same level sound quality-wise as the guitars (still nice). It looks like maybe these newer versions of the ukes have caught up with the import guitars. I'm thinking of the Discovery Series guitars particularly. Those are quite the bang for the buck.
That finish on the uke makes me think of old black and white or sepia pictures.
