Pono Baritone Ukulele

I have a Pono Baritone Ukulele and the G string keeps on breaking on me...I have used diferrent strings and same result..

It does seem the tension is too tight when I am trying to tune it to the G tune....

Any suggestions?

Which string is G -- are you trying to tune the uke DGBE or GCEA?

Are you tuning a low G string to high G tuning? Make sure you get the right string.
