If anyone wants a sound sample (what am I getting myself into?), I'll try to
provide a rough MP3 (if I can figure out how to do it), but it may need to be

As you all know, those of us who 'create' song sheets often do so with a particular
cover in mind and select our chording per what we remember in our heads. That
said, when you play any particular song sheet, the chords may or may not make
sense to what you remember the song sounding like. Hence, my offer to record
myself singing from my song sheet so you can have an idea what prompted me
to select those particular chords

Will do, sir. I already practiced a number of my favourite Christmas songs. Unfortunately, I won't be home for Christmas since I will be visiting the States and I can't really take a uke with me. To remedy the situation, I might have to buy a uke while I'm there. And of course it's only so that I can play some Christmas songs at Christmas, honest.
