Stripped Makala tuner machine mounting threads

What I'mma do?
I could take the tension off the #3 string post, back out the mounting screws and slather some (?) glue in there or what would be a more satisfying choice?

I would take the screw out and stick a toothpick dipped in wood glue into the hole. Let it dry, cut it off with an exacto knife so that it is flush. Maybe drill a new pilot hole. Then put the screw back in. Pretty basic.

That's the traditional solution, and it should work fine.
