Pinned bridge? I think you mean pinned nut. Rather than cutting slots in the nut, Hoffmann has pins holding the strings in place.

How do I keep my wife? I keep her in a box under the TV - her ashes, that is. Like me, she had a good sense of humor, so she wouldn't mind me saying that. If she were still alive, I might have three inexpensive ukes. She was my "Control."
