just received the Carbon Outdoor Ukulele Soprano!

I'm planning on using it at a Jam tonight in Shoreline, WA just north of
Seattle.

I got it because of the "15% brighter" bit in their advertising for the Carbon models.
Of course, "50%" 'stronger'? doesn't hurt. It only comes in black, but, hey,
that's part of the price to pay for this outstanding uke.

Got it tuned and started playing at work. only a couple of minutes, but
i do enjoy what I'm hearing. Just waiting to see how it fares amidst
other, louder, ukes :)

Anyway, just sharing my excitement and appreciation that ukes of all
makes and models can bring so much joy and happiness for really just
a small investment of funds. Of course, one could spend a lot more!
But that's up to you!

Congrats, sounds like that uke has potential.

Have fun with it!

Been having fun with both the Carbon and the standard Polycarbonate models of the Outdoor Ukulele Sopranos!

I do find that the Carbon model sounds 'brighter' meaning, to me, something like a higher pitch. they are actually
tuned the same with the same tuner, but the Polycarbonate model sounds 'lower' and more mellow and also
quieter. The Carbon with its perceptively 'higher' pitch also seems to be able to cut through the ambient sounds
at a Jam, enough to be heard by the player if not others around.

I can lead songs with either the Carbon or the Polycarbonate models, but the Carbon can be heard more clearly I
believe. Once things get going, it can get drowned out by the other ukes. But that's OK since most songs seem
to have a life of their own once begun! :)

Really enjoying these Outdoor Ukulele Sopranos. I'm planning on bringing both with me on Wed the 20th to the
Ukulele Guild of Hawaii Luthier event. Both can actually fit inside a Fusion soft case, back to back! it's a tight
fit, but good enough to be ONE of my carry on items.
