Hi from Florida

Hello everyone, my name is Em, and I'm in Tampa, FL.
I am new to ukuleles, but I think the bug is biting me. I got my Mom a soprano ukulele last Christmas, and while she doesn't play it, I find myself plucking around on it when I'm over there.
Really, I am a returning guitar player, but what happened is I developed a bad left hand tendon problem and haven't been able to play guitar.
So I bought a baritone uke and I find that I really enjoy play
Ing it.
What I would really love is a steel string one, but that seems to be like chasing a unicorn, as far as finding one.
But anyway, I'm enjoying it as-is.
My wrist injury is still healing and I'm not supposed to be playing, but I do sneak a pluck or 2 here and there.

Look up the Tampa Bay Ukulele Society if you aren’t already familiar with them. Also, you may want to consider looking into tenor guitars. They can be strung like a baritone uke quite easily.
