Ukulele Hats

Ukulele hats? A year or so ago I would have said no, but these days I'm somewhat follicly challenged and do tend to wear one outside. So, summer I have a couple of straw hats, panama style and one cowboy style, winter, anything woolley that covers the ears. Inside? Mainly not but, just yesterday, my trio were playing in a care home and we sported a sort of Victorian style smokers hat, a Turkish Fez and a Baker boy cap. Then we hit the Christmas carol section so on with the Santa hats, natch.

"Smokers" - so that's what that hat is called. As for the "baker boys caps," we call them "newsboy caps" here. They've been popular everywhere for decades. I have several.

My trilby arrive at 7:29 PM last night - poor UPS drivers - but it is too large. "One-size-fits-all" isn't true. It's going back. If it fit, it would have been a good deal for $11.00.

For me "one size fits all" has always had an implied "except you, bighead."

If I tried to get one like Tricity Vogue I'd probably need a baritone :D
