I wanted a different sound for the song Fishin' Blues, recorded by Taj Mahal.
Yesterday I borrowed a friend's tenor size reso uke, and played it as best I could, mimicking a little solo, and strumming the rest.
I really loved the way it sounded, she offered to sell it to me, but the scale is just too long for me, unless I play it with a slide, which I really don't want to do yet.
Does anyone know of a good concert scale reso that I could get my hands on for less than $500?
