Aloha everyone,
I have been working on this design for a while now, trying to add a little more diversity to my lineup. Introducing the Hoe Wa’a (Canoe Paddle) ukulele. This is a 15” concert scale. All solid koa body, with a solid walnut strip on the top and back simulating the paddle shaft. The fretboard and bridge are matching walnut and the neck is H. mahogany.

The sound is open and loud, with the traditional warmth of the koa.

Utilizing an internal mold and a Spanish heel neck joint during construction allows me to keep the cost very low for a solid Hawaiian koa ukulele. The price is $425 USD, with $35 shipping via USPS Priority Mail to US destination.

Mahalo,

Thanks everyone for looking, this ukulele has been sold. I will be building some more of these shortly, so I will leave the thread open for now.

Beautiful, Brad! Do you think you'll have one done by the last week in January? Excited to meet you and try your ukes.
