    Default Kanile'a Platinum 2020

I ran it through Photoshop and I'm only guessing but it looks like a bird inlay. A bird with a long tail, or a snake.

    Oh well, roll on 2021!

I wonder why they bothered to do that. It has a standard shape, a neck, and a slotted headstock. "...make any guesses?" is right. A combination bird and snake could be the Mexican god Quetzalcoatl, the plumed serpent. : )

Super tenor size, but I’m guessing (more hoping) it uses some interesting wood?

Do they have those in Hawaii?

I love the idea of a super tenor but not with inlays. Something like Claro Walnut with Bearclaw Spruce, or top grade mango would be good. Let's wait and see.

I saw it almost completed at the factory tour two weeks ago. It sure looks awesome.

Hard to say with the resolution; it may just be glare/lighting on some super figured wood.

My first thought (if an inlay) was flowing lava...

Seems like the soundhole is off center to the left, alike a blackbird Clara?
