I'm a bit bored ..So I thought I might as well show a simple photo set on making back braces. I would have liked to have made a video of this but the software APP I normaly use "iMovie" has been upgraded and my iPad IOS is not big enough for it ...So I'm investing in a bigger apple tablet "iPad pro 3rd Gen" so I can do some serious filming. :)
First I trim some 6 X 7 mm spruce to length on my custom miter block.

Then I sand them to a 10 FT radius

Next mark them out for taper sanding.

Next I shape them on the disc sander.

Now already for gluing to the back plate.

Glued onto the back plate and clamped to a 10ft dish radiused board.

Gluing completed... now I plane them to an Acorn shape.

Thanks for that, Ken - an interesting insight.
