DIY possible for 7yo?

Hi,
I am an immigrant, currently living in Canada and my son is 7yo right now. Noone in my family has learnt music.

But I'm exploring if I should do a DIY with my son to learn ukulele. I am pretty motivated and my son is good at picking up things. What are some of the good books and online resources that I can explore. The local library has good resources of books and they even rent ukuleles for free !!! Woohoo....

So practicing is no issue. Once I get familiar, I plan to buy a good ukulele.

All it takes is Three simple chords: C F G7
