CURTAIN RISE, CURTAIN FALL

It feels just like the days are getting colder
Like a spiderweb painted in a corner
Like the photograph I took at the wrong angle
I am that fly caught up in a tangle

'cause everything I do feels like a crime
Like a sliver tongue whose taste buds aren't in line
Like a wallet looking for a note
An ancient castle looking for a mote

Everything I have I'd give to you it all
Between curtain rise and curtain fall

And I'd walk naked through the streets of town
I would write you poems 'til my pencil it wore down
I would plant a flower for you in Spring
Guess what I mean to say is I'd do anything

'cause what I have I'd give to you it all
Between curtain rise and curtain fall

Well if there's a road we could walk together
Side by side with you I would walk forever
But the spider's gone and his web's all torn
And you're the only one who can make the Winter's warm

The only one who can make the Winter's warm
But the spider's gone and his web's all torn
And what I have I'd give to you it all
Between curtain rise and curtain fall

Bill, Mark, Dave - thank you so much fellas for taking the time.
