Uke acquisition syndrome: tell me about yours and help me with mine

My first uke was a tenor I built from a StewMac kit. I added bindings, a side sound port, and a pickup. I was very pleased with how it turned out. It ended up going to a family member as a gift, as did the 2nd tenor uke I built. I currently have six ukes, and two more under construction. As it typically takes at least 4-6 months from raw wood to finished instrument, it slows down the UAS . . . somewhat. I love building, and have been in my shop by 4 AM many times, including this morning. One of my two current projects is a Kasha-braced baritone made entirely from woods harvested here in my home state, including a neck from 100+ year old wormy American Chestnut.
