    Default Kala Elite strings

Saw this video on a nice Elite tenor. Apparently, Kala now uses Worth Browns as their stock strings. This particular uke has Worth Brown BT for the E and A, a Worth Brown low-G string for the C string, and an Aquila low-G for the G string. I thought that was an interesting mix, it sure sounds good to me.

I somehow own 3 2019 Kala Elite and they all came setup as you indicated. I have to say that fat C string isn't to my taste: too dull and tubby. I replaced it with a .032" and it really sings—as good for soloing on as the 2nd string. Their choice of low G, a silver wound Aquila, sounds nice.
