    Default Welcome to Splintville

Got a cut across my left hand index finger's middle knuckle. Now that finger is wrapped up in a splint, so the cut can heal together straight, without bending. So no use of my left index finger for a week or so, and not much uke playing. I did try, using the other 3 fingers, while the index finger sticks straight out in the splint. Wow, so weird, although open C and Am chords work, as well as single or 2 string runs up the neck. Guess I'll be in uke withdrawl for a while, or bone up on some new chord positions/fingerings.

You could tune to an open chord and get a botle neck slide. Bottle......bottle neck slide ....
