It works!
I recognize I’m fortunate to live in a climate where displaying instruments on the wall is possible - and for others like me, perhaps you’ve wondered how to do it. The issue was complicated by my limited wall space and changing collection.

It’s a plastic rail that attaches either to the underside of a shelf, as in my case, or directly to the wall. The rail comes with two 3 foot sections and with 6 hooks which slide along the track. A present, the cost for the rail is $18.
I wouldn’t want to use the rail for heavy instruments such as a banjo or guitar, but it works well for ukes.
